Sudan death row woman 're-arrested'

This is really getting ridiculous. After Sudanese government confirmed that Meriam has been freed, news coming in now states otherwise.

Meriam has been detained with her family at Khartoum airport, sources have told the BBC.
Meriam Ibrahim was sentenced to hang in May for renouncing Islam, sparking widespread outrage at home and abroad.
About 40 security agents detained Mrs Ibrahim - along with her husband, Daniel Wani and two children - at the airport, the sources said.
On Monday, Mr Wani said the family intended to leave for the US.
Mrs Ibrahim was released from prison after an appeal court annulled the death sentence imposed on her.

BREAKING NEWS: Sudanese mother sentenced to death for 'converting to Christianity' freed after international outcry

Great news!!!

Ms Ibrahim and husband Daniel Wani

A court in Sudan today ordered the release of the 27-year-old woman sentenced to death last month for converting from Islam to Christianity, the state news agency said. A government official had told Reuters on May 31 that Sudanese officials were working to release Ibrahim.

Ms Ibrahim, born in eastern Sudan's Gedaref state on November 3, 1987, is the daughter of a Sudanese Muslim father and an Ethiopian Orthodox Christian mother, according to a statement from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Khartoum obtained last week by AFP.

Her father abandoned the family when she was five, and she was raised according to her mother's faith, it says.

'She has never been a Muslim in her life,' said the statement signed by Father Mussa Timothy Kacho, episcopal vicar for Khartoum. Miss Ibrahim joined the Catholic church shortly before she married the Mr Wani in December 2011, the vicar said.

Mr Wani was born in Khartoum but is now a U.S. citizen, the U.S. embassy confirmed to AFP last Tuesday.

This will also be the first child for her husband Ceawlin Thynn, 40, the Viscount of Weymouth, son of the 7th Marquess of Bath and heir to the Longleat estate.

I am back!!!

I have been so busy the last few weeks. My baby boy turned 1 last week. A big shout out to him!!! We took kids to Butlins in Skegness and they had an amazing time. There was so much for them to do. At the end of each day, we had two very exhausted babies. I would definitely recommend Butlins to any family that wants to go. Here are some of the pictures.

South African Man Eats Heart of Ex Girlfriend’s New Lover

I am yet to understand the rationale of some human beings. I just read that a man in South Africa has been arrested by authorities when he was found using a knife and fork to eat the heart of his ex-girlfriend’s new lover.

According to what police told BBC Africa, the 62-year old victim was stabbed in the chest and neck, and had a bite mark on his face.

The suspect who is a Zimbabwean national, was found in the Gugulethu township near Cape Town. He will be formally charged in court on Thursday or Friday.

One witness stated that “It was very gruesome. It’s definitely a love triangle”

Who is feeling Rihanna's outfit?

No doubt the girl is a stunner. There was a mixed reaction on her choice of outfit though. She was honoured with the Fashion Icon Award at the annual Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.

Inspiring word

A friend shared this with me and I loved it. I hope you find some inspiration from it too.

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried pitifully for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.
Finally, he decided the animal was old,and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.
At first, the donkey realised what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw.
With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing.
He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL:
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt.
The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up.
Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up!
Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less from people but -more from God.
Beloved, being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.
