Solitude, a place I savour
A place I am most comfortable
A place I can be myself
and be whoever I want to be
A place I am not afraid to be in
A place I am queen
The desire for solitude is none like other
The one I bask in for a soliloquy
The one that I crave for in the midst of a cacophony
Never minding the dichotomy
of noise and silence
But the embrace of solitude
The monopoly to dictate
Who I want to be
What I want to say
How I want to say it
is hidden in my soliloquy
in the midst of solitude
