Donald Trump calls Obama the 'founder of Isis'

According to the guardian website, Donald Trump referred to president Obama as ‘Barack Hussein Obama’ and says Hillary Clinton is Isis co-founder.

Donald Trump's comments, made at a rally in Sunrise, Florida, came as he continued to face a backlash for hinting a day earlier that his opponent, Hillary Clinton, be assassinated by gun rights supporters.

“Isis is honoring President Obama,” Trump said of Islamic State. “He is the founder of Isis. He founded Isis. And, I would say the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton.”

In addition to insinuating that Obama, a Christian, is secretly a Muslim, Trump has also falsely stated the president was born in Kenya when he was, in fact, born in Hawaii.

Woman admits having sex with dog!

Strange things are happening in our world!

Kimberly Coggin, 39,  admitted having sex with more than one animal according to Irish Mirror. Police investigated a photo of her in the act going around her home of Calhoun County in Alabama. Despite her guilty plea, she will not be jailed and instead received a 10 year suspended sentence with five years probation. She has also been ordered to register as a sex offender!

Olympics game- Chierika Ukogu qualifies for Semifinals of Rowing Event

Wow! Nigerian Chierika ‘Coco’ Ukogu, 23, today qualified for the semifinals of the rowing event.

She is the first person to represent Nigeria in Rowing at the Olympics and guess what? She sponsored herself by raising funds through a GoFundMe Page she created.

Well done Chierika!!! You have done yourself and Africa so proud!

I hope the Nigerian government take investing in sports and youth development more seriously!

Mexico Miss World pageant head Castellanos killed

The director of the Miss World pageant in Mexico, Hugo Ruben Castellanos, has been killed in the city of Culiacan in north-eastern Sinaloa state.

Mr Castellanos was abducted along with two other people from a bar early on Sunday, just hours after he crowned the winner of the Miss Sinaloa contest.

I am back from my weekend away!!!

The United Kingdom is full of stunning and picturesque villages. One does not have to visit abroad to have an amazing holiday. There are so much activities one can indulge in here in the UK. Additionally, there are so many historic, picturesque and attractive places to visit.

This weekend, I had an amazing time visiting a small village near Cromer, Norfolk. I did the drive towards the coastal village where I spent my time. Although one has to be careful segueing through the narrow and bendy roads, there are several scenic places to stop and look around. As I drove past little villages with some of the cutest names I've come across, I couldn't help being in awe of the scenery. I couldn't help but smile when I passed small villages called Little Snoring and Pudding Norton! Awesome!

When I got to the coastal villages, I was engulfed with the holiday feeling. There were hundreds of people enjoying their holiday. It helped that the weather was magnificent!

The weather was just brilliant - Just the perfect weather to meander through the many villages. Of course it would be so easy to sit by the beach and just soak in the sun. Hey, I am an explorer! I looked around the charity shops in North Walsham and of course went to a car boot sale.

Nigeria- Boko Haram in Nigeria: Split emerges over leadership

Fragmentation and schism is reported to have percolated into the camp of Boko Haram. Just like many factional groups in Nigeria, leadership dispute remains one of the myriad factors that contribute to the enfeeblement and polarisation of a group and it's survival.

According to the BBC news website, Abubakar Shekau has declared that he is still in charge of Nigeria's militant Islamist group despite a statement by so-called Islamic State that he had been replaced.

Abubakar Shekau denounced the IS declaration that Abu Musab al-Barnawi was now leader.

Shekau accused al-Barnawi of trying to stage a coup against him.

A woman has been reportedly killed and five other people injured in the attack that took place last night at Russell Square.

The police are still investigating the motive of the attack. It was reported that mental health is a significant factor in this case.

Happy birthday mum!!!

My mum is one of the greatest and strongest women that I know, look up to and respect. A great woman of innumerable substance, emulative qualities and intelligence.

Mum is a go-getter! Nothing fazes her! If she sets her eyes on it, she would go get it and make a great success of it. She never gives up - be it her dreams, goals, or aspirations. Her motto is 'I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me'. One of the great philosophies that I have learnt from her is never to give up, to pursue my dreams and never to let anyone or anything come in between my aspirations and goals in life. I learnt from her how to stand strong and never be afraid of being ostracised standing up for what I believe in. I learnt from her that I do not have to do what I don't believe in just to fit in.

My mum was widowed 12 years ago.  For those 12 years she worked so hard to ensure that we lacked for nothing.  I remember how she was put through some of the worst inhuman treatment when dad went to be with his maker. Being an intelligent woman, she never engaged in or made irrelevant arguments. You see, mum is a soft-spoken, gentle natured woman with a strong and determined personality. So when people hid behind 'customs and traditions' in order to suppress and oppress her, she fought back through eloquently arguing her case - that there was no place for the oppression of women in modern day society.

A culture that required a grieving widow to have her hair shaved to the bone and strip her of all dignity. I am all for tradition and custom but not when it is oppressive, suppressive, repressive, archaic and to the detriment of women empowerment. My mum made me so proud standing up against what she believed to be a harmful and repressive custom. One of the few women to do this, risking being ostracised. A brave woman I must say!

My mum never allowed any of these to weigh her down. My mum who was an accountant went back to the University and studied law, got called to the bar and used and is still using her degree to champion the cause of the Nigerian widow. Today she is a very respectable Barrister championing the rights of women and widows. Twelve years ago, she started a charity and non-governmental organisation to empower the Nigerian widow and fight against their ill treatment. Her organisation has various branches in many parts of Nigeria. Her organisation is still empowering widows and their children.

Apart from running her private nursery, primary and secondary school which she set up more than 30 years ago, She now gives speeches, writes books and promotes women's right. My mum is not just an amazing woman, she is also an amazing mother. I cannot begin to say how much she has sacrificed for us.  She taught us not only to be punctilious but to also stand against injustice.

This write up does not do great justice to this great woman. I am so blessed that she is my mum. She loves me and everyone around her unconditionally and with such pure heart. When life tries to give me lemons, my mum is always there to support me, laugh with me and encourage me.

I love her so much! Please join me in wishing this wonderful woman a very happy birthday!

Boy, 12, appears in court for murder!

A 12-year-old boy charged with murder blew a kiss at his weeping mother as he appeared in court this morning.

The child is one of four boys who have now been formally charged over the killing of Bradley Moore in Ashton-under-Lyne last week.

The 12-year-old, two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - made their first appearance at Oldham Magistrates' Court today (Monday).

Several of the boys' mums broke down in tears as they were led into the dock in handcuffs.

All four stood quietly, showing little emotion, as their charges were read out to them by magistrates.

The 12-year-old boy defendant, wearing a blue polo shirt and grey sweatshirt, spoke softly as he confirmed his name, age and address to the bench.

One of the 16-year-olds, wearing a patterned shirt, spoke only to confirm his details. He waved briefly at his mother and father as he was led away from court.

Dad-of-four who died after McDonalds attack is named as detectives quiz 12-year-old on suspicion of murder

The other boy of the same age, wearing a navy sweatshirt, attempted to speak to his parents through the glass at the end of the hearing.

The mother of the eldest boy, 17, of no fixed address, was sat in court as the charge was read out to her son.

Richard Rigby, chair of the bench, sent the case to Manchester Crown Court where the boys will appear this afternoon.

Addressing the teens, he said: “Listen carefully. This case is being sent to Crown Court in Manchester Crown Square.

Police were called to Warrington Street just before 10.50pm on Wednesday, July 27, after reports of an assault.

Bradley Moore, in his 40s, was taken to hospital but died in the early hours of Thursday.

Miss Teen USA Keeps Crown Despite Racist Tweets

The new Miss Teen USA has been forced to apologise over racist tweets from her past just days after being crowned.

Karlie Hay won the pageant on Saturday but social media users quickly discovered an account under her name that featured tweets with the N-word from 2013 and 2014.

Pageant officials moved into damage control mode, saying in a statement that her language was "unacceptable at any age and in no way reflects the values of The Miss Universe Organisation".

They said the 18-year-old had been "in a different place in her life" when she posted the tweets.

"Karlie learned many lessons through those personal struggles that reshaped her life and values.

"We as an organisation are committed to supporting her continued growth."

Hay posted an apology on Twitter and Instagram, saying she had used language that "is not representative of who I am as a person".

It is understood that Hay, of Tomball, Texas, will be allowed to keep her crown.

Miss Teen USA also faced accusations of a lack of diversity after posting an image of the top five contestants on Twitter.

All five are white, with long blonde hair and light-coloured eyes.

Model Chrissy Teigen replied: "Wow how can we choose from such a diverse bunch."

Fraudster arrested

A Nigerian behind thousands of online scams around the world has been arrested in the southern oil city of Port Harcourt, Interpol alleges.

The 40-year-old man, known only as "Mike" is alleged to head a network of 40 individuals behind global scams worth more than $60m (£45m).

His operations involves using targeted malware to take over systems, use compromised emails and romance scams.

Nigeria's anti-fraud agency was also involved in the arrest.

"In one case, a target was conned into paying out $15.4 m (£11m)," Interpol said in a statement.

"Mike" also allegedly ran a money laundering network in China, Europe and the US.

"The network compromised email accounts of small to medium-sized businesses around the world including in Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, Romania, South Africa, Thailand and the United States," it said.

They would then send fake messages to buyers with instructions to make a payment to a bank account under their control.

The other strategy they used was to take over the email account of a high-level executive and give instructions to transfer money into a bank account they controlled.

The suspect and an accomplice, who was also arrested in the city, face charges including hacking, conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretences.

They are currently out on bail as investigations continue, the statement said.
